Equine Assisted Physiotherapy (EAPT) is an online professional course designed to strengthen your understanding of physiotherapy principles within Equine Assisted Services (EAS). Whether you are practising in EAS already or interested in how physiotherapy frameworks support movement, posture and functional outcomes in therapeutic sessions, this course offers practical and clinically relevant insight that enhances your EAS work.
Delivered fully online with 12 lessons and lifetime access, this course allows you to study at your own pace and revisit the content whenever you need. You’ll learn foundational physiotherapy concepts adapted to the equine environment, including developmental kinesiology, postural control, muscle tone regulation, therapeutic positioning, session structure, safety considerations, indications and contraindications, and how equine movement can support meaningful functional outcomes.
